The Cape Town Science Centre is a fun educational facility with over 250 interactive exhibits! With a large variety of exhibits suited to children from five years up to those of eighteen, there’s something for everyone. Explore and learn about space, sustainability, robotics, and more! Keep in mind that some exhibits and workshops may need advance booking. Ticket prices range between R85 and R340. 

Let your creativity run amok at the Clay Cafe, a pottery-painting restaurant with outlets located around the city. Kids and adults alike will have fun choosing from the cafe’s range of ceramic pieces and painting them however they please. Enjoy a cool beverage and a delicious plate of food before, after, or while you paint! Located in the city bowl, Hout Bay, and Paarl, the clay cafe makes for a wonderfully entertaining activity. 

Featuring a large collection of vintage dolls, teddy bears, and dinky cars, the Warrior Toy Museum, located in Simons Town, is a great indoor activity for kids in Cape Town.
